Spot on Alex. Its The Green Bridge and Elegug Stacks, basically within the firing range between Linney head and St. Govans Head, round the corner is Broad Haven south. Its a beautiful stretch of coast line, but I'm afraid I'm far to guilty of taking a right hand turn at the heads and racing over to the islands rather than giving the coast line down to Tenby a bit more attention. I think most people are to be honest, whenever I go round that way other boats are usually few and far between, its a different story when I go round the islands.

Not on Sunday it wasn't - there was one potting boat and a small sailing boat to the south of skomer, and only 2 commercial ships anchored in st brides bay - that was all I should have turned left, but whenever I do that, I get carried away (phone home to change itinerary) and end up down in Tenby, despite planning to only go as far as Broad Haven South.

The coastline down that way is incredible, and quite different to North Pembs - last couple of times I've passed there on my boat, we've been engulfed in thick fog for about 15miles of the trip... for the first time this year, I saw Linney Head for both the journey down and journey back - lovely journey on a nice 9m humber ocean pro too

You're right Alex, Sunday was quiet once you got past Milford. What time were you out? The ferry looks like it was in the same place as when I past it, in saying that I think it was treading water it certainly wasnt going anywhere fast, I saw the pilot boat too, lovely wake on those things
.
It did cross my mind to keep going going to Tenby but I decided against it as the big spring tide was racing in and the car and trailer were parked on the foreshore at Black Tar.
