Thass one 'o' them Cod-worker ribs from Welsh wales innit?

Nice pix. Would be kinda jealous except that you managed to take them during the one calm day a year off the North of Scotland. I imagine it's a less idyllic scene in the midst of a F9?

Just realised - the stern of that little ship of yours has some RIB type features!!!

http://www.maersksupplyservice.com/i...serter4low.jpg

Bulbous curved deck edges for extra buoyency/stability - what a back end!!!

Some serious power as well - 2000hp - not that much? That's one of the thrusters!!!

and surf the net! but we are only allowed one terminal between 20 of us or else we would choke the Bandwith which is required for the reams of Change management documnets!

Breeze Block was on the Bridge watching us !

Single jet it would be easier with two

The thrusters are powerful and thats one of the interesting (but not amusing) points of the job the Vessel has DP (dynamic positioning) so the thrusters autonatically kick in when the ship moves slightly out of position, which is usually when I am coming alongside.........

re rough day to be honest if the wind is over 30 knots and the wave height over 4 metres then we don't dive if it picks up to that after we have gone out then the journey back is interesting

engine room is fantastic I'll have a chat to the chief engineer and ask if I can take some Photos,,,,,,,I'd be happy to eat my dinner of the engine room floor
