By the layout i'd say it was a rig support vessel.

Be interesting to see how it might handle the big stuff in the North Sea.

Wouldn't like to be on it in a big sea. Hitting a big wave would push the bow deeper into the water.

Not with that much buoyancy up front it wouldn't. I would be more concerned about lack of penetration through the waves or too raised a c of g.

Looking at it I think they have tried to incorporate a bow bulb into the main hull to avoid the noise and spray they normally generate.

Yes it is designed for that - supposed to be a very dry ride - no spray at all on the windows apparently. I still think though that in extreme conditions she will be pushed around somewhat by the bow. That is one hell of a surface area.
