Sr4 and Solent 7m - Solent today

We took my SR4 and Evolution (7m solent) over to cowes today to deliver a launching trolley (we put it on a rigiflex and towed it behind evolution). Got some nice pics on the way back:

Was just getting off the yacht about then having chalked up another brace of firsts (or should that be a "boast of firsts"?)

Spent most of the day being followed by this (and am looking forward to the results.

Tim,

How does that SR4 go with the 25 Four Stroke on the back ? It must go okay if it got to Cowes in this weather. But it seems a little small compared to what people usually stick on the back.

Surprisingly well actually. It will plane with four people. I reckon it does about 25 knots one up on a good day. That day I was sticking to 18 knots as I was towing the jaffa, the Rich was going considerably faster than me in the Searider.
