Small SIB - BIG smile

Hi

Just to prove it, here I am on the River Severn earlier this month. Great day out, loads of horrible debris in the H2O, fence posts with nails!!!

That was taken (last year) on the Thames, just above Sonning Lock, steaming downstream towards lunch at the Bull Inn in Sonning village (worth a visit - v.good food). We (yes, there were four of us in the boat!) had launched at Reading slipway, a very slippy slipway thanks to the swan poo, which inspired my first submission to the Good Launch Guide (or the Bad Launch Guide in the case of this site!)

Wow!
It's quite peculiar living round here - Paul Daniels lives just down the road at Wargrave, Michael Parkinson has a pub at Twyford, in fact your village just isn't on the map if it hasn't got at least one celeb. And my fiancee teaches lots of their kids. Ho-hum, some of us just dream of fame and fortune. Well, just the fortune bit, actually!
