Hey..thanks for that Poly..it may build into a handy resource for others looking for similar routes.

In case anyone may think it a bit challenging going round the Isle of Skye in a small SIB.. perhaps I should mention I have already done a few of the “Good Parts” in little more than a twelve foot row boat.. powered by a 4HP Tohatsu four stroke. All I need is a reasonable weather window...I intend taking my time and Im looking forward to exploring the Islands in the Sound of Rathsay.
I also want to land on Holm Island .. local legend knows it as Tir Na Nog ...isle of eternal youth. I think I will have to be quite youthful to clamber up its steep sides though.



The North West sea cliffs form some of the most scenic coastline in the whole of the UK










I will try and post an Adventure going from Oban which is suitable for SIBs.. shortly..so watch out for it in the next day or two...
