Nope...

Quite appropriate given what appears to be a total lack of lifejackets on the occupants and a child onboard...

How appropriate this weekend I got shouted to help right under the old menai suspension bridge!! he was travelling at 5 plus knots straight for a moored yacht.

Remembering your telling off I assisted. See "anyone out on Menai Straits tomorrow for cold ride 04/10/09" thread for photo.

P.S. I'd always help, just reeeeaally bugs me when they run out of fuel!!

Nice! Does it need much? It doesn't look like it does.

Tubes have been cleaned but they could do with another wipe. I'm just waiting for the missus to finish work so she can get the acetone out. Nasty stuff!

She would but she's tired. She worked the nightshift getting it finished.

Ready for a dip tomorrow and start getting the engine run in.

DM - what are the straps for that run along the floor under the "tow straps"? There's obviously some similar ones which go over the top of the tubes (presumably to hold the tubes on in case of glue failure) - but these don't have an obvious purpose.

Those loop straps are not for towing. They're for putting your toes in.

The long straps are used when haggis smuggling. The haggi go under the straps to stop them jumping overboard. Thought you would know that being a Scot.

Two errors in one post. Electronic malfunction in the data module maybe.

makes sense I suppose - I just put them in the anchor locker myself but I note that Avon didn't have the foresight to include one.

unfortunately the data module was made by Cobra - and like their radios its IP67 rating was somewhat optimistic, and its been raining a lot here recently.
