My next tow cart will be auto!

I am setting off tonight from Manchester to Weymouth towing - so the new clutch will get a good test!

Second one did 18k before I chopped it in for this one

Auto is ok but you have no braking on over run, not much of a problem when towing but in the snow it makes a big difference

Me dad had a green and silver L200 in Cyprus, it looked jacked up with big alloys and tyres, only problems was the battery failed in the heat! I love it, been over the mountains off road and on the beaches too, took my kids to turtle beach in it and found some hatched turtle eggs which they loved.

Had to removed the film from the blacked out windows to get it through the mot.

I love driving it, but the turning circle is really pants!!

In cyprus they drive crew cabs as they are cheaper on tax as they are classed as Agricultural vehicles

Here's my X-Trail with fromt and rear towbars, 95,000 miles and only ever had one set of brake pads and one set of tyres other than its anual service.

My Nissan

My trusty Nissan Navara, it was a company vehicle and I loved it. Regularly had it up to it's nuts in the sea when the company finally went bust and the receivers took it back there was not a spot of rust on it. It was not too bad on juice, (average 30mpg) and over the 3 years I had it I put £15K of diesel in it, thank god for the fuel card, (no wonder they went bust)! It had a new engine at 60K.
All the diving gear or tools for work went in the back and the cab stayed clean.
What a machine, I really miss it. My only gripe is it had a dire turning circle.

What do I drive now? I would love to buy British, I really would but I am afraid they are just pants (I'm sorry landrover lovers).

I currently going through a couple of Isuzu Troopers, (the older 3.1's). Great machines, utterly bullet proof.

So landrovers are unreliable eh?

Why did you need a new engine at 60K,

must be Nissan engines are crap then!

Why are you going through a couple of Isuzus? is it not reliable enough for you to have 1???

sounds like typical Jap crap to me!
