Short Sea Delivery

Evening,

As some may know, i had the chance last week to join one of our sea deliveries from work.

Some pics of along the way. any guess as to where we are??

Any suggestions on the rib??

In Kotka there was a large Avon. 8 meter i guess with 2 x 250 Mariner Offshores shame it was dark and i was too tired to find the camera!

pics were not from Finland but it doenst take a Genius to work out where Kotka is !!

The lock was coming out of the Kiel Canal. It was huge! Dwarfed the 67ft boat we were in!

The first picture was Helgolann, bridge, sunrise and lock were through the Keil Canal and the rib was Kalmar.

I think you do!

AFAIK Helgolann or Helgoland is part of Germany.

Codders - read "To The Baltic With Bob" by Griff Rhys Jones - you need to swot up on your Baltic Geography!

Suprised you haven't Googled it Richard

He took a little speed boat up to the Baltic and missed out on a week in Britiany with friends, sigh, such dedication to his job.
