She's here!!

Erm...

There are supposed to be pics of our new RIB attached. She's very nice - although currently invisible!!

I'm following ALL the instructions...and it isn't working. The files are less than 100kb, are jpegs, and it says that they are uploading - but then don't appear!!

I assume it's me being an idiot - Any ideas?

D...

Are they saved in an acceptable format? We usually save as jpeg files. Are the picture dimensions inside the limits? 550 x 420

The files should be 550 x 500 pixels (usualy if the width is 550 the hight is 412 pixels). Also if you upload more than 2 I found that you need to reduce them to 25kb otherwise it doesn't do it The format I use is jpg

Good luck & looking forward to see the boat

Not to worry...

...it's me being stupid. The files are slightly too big (pixel-wise) so I'll play with them and post them later.

Ta!!

RIBase
V. nice rig. Congrats on your purchase.
I would be very interested in any performance figures you get out of her Dylan.
Any particular reason for the Bravo 2 over the 1 or the 3?

Thanks for all the comments!!

The plan was to do something commercial with her - hence the size/spec etc etc, but then that plan went awry a couple of months ago - and she was on order by then (oh dear!!). It was quite amusing to see Nicky's face (my wife) when she saw it in the car park!! Ah well, I'll just have to play out instead.........

Brian, after reading up on some of the comments about Bravo 3 legs, and a bit of research, it all led to the impression that the B3 was not really able to cope with a 300BHP Yanmar. I spoke to Ribcraft about it, and they agreed that the B2 was the way to go - although for the life of me I can't remember why we dismissed the B1.

Having said that though, looking through the manual, at least I don't have to take the prop off to change the oil on the B2!!

We are launching her tomorrow morning, and once I've got her passed the initial 10-20 hours, I'll let you know how she does!!

Dylan... (still grinning like an idiot...)

I know that feeling very well, don't I Alan?

Sure you'll have lots of great adventures in her - hopefully some of them will be in the Solent!
