Seawork 2009

I dropped in to Seawork for a while today. Quite a few RIBs in a variety of sizes, and various degrees of greyness and warriness!

Some general views of the pontoons:

1 Parker 900 Baltic and Rosborough Boats Roughwater 911
2 Ribcraft Pro 9.0 and Delta "Typhoon" Offshore Interceptor
3 Scorpion from LynxSports, and a couple of Ribquests - one with a jet pod

Interesting new "inflatable RIB" - and it really is! The deep-V hull and deck are made of dropthread neoprene (airdeck floor material) resulting in inflatable rigid hull. There's more info and some video on the De Batts web site.

You would need a very good reason to have one though, as they're around 14k which is rather a lot for a 5.3m boat . . .

Some nice boats but it looks like I designed the console on the Delta blindfolded with the pencil between my toes!
