A few more boats assemble in the car park. I never quite worked out who the real hero on the JetSki was but he came to Southend with us!

4 RIBs and a JetSki then headed towards Essex! Richard (Bilge Rat) quickly decided progress was slow in the considerable chop so we all joined he 'the long was round' by cutting inside Sheppy.
We arrived at southend about 1:15pm to be greeted by 2 more RIBs and Alan's substantial digital camera.

Nice day guys. My total round trip was 73nm, and i made Margate with enough water to recover... HM customs were waiting aswell but that's another story!
