i couldn't be bothered editing the video too much, it isn't my bag TBH so it is what it is. I have a lot of rib vids on my channel though if you like which are just as badly edited

Been over from Port Logan to Donaghadee there and back in a day, a couple of times now. Pier 36 for lunch and back. Great experience.

When we did the trip, Port Logan wasn't an option for a couple of reasons but primarily there was a "trench" across the access ramp to the beach that you couldn't have got a large 4 x 4 over, but also I wasn't happy about leaving the cars and trailers there overnight. Going from Stranraer certainly pushed the distance up....37NM each way (Bangor). As you say, a great experience and we'll do it again but next on the radar is the Isle of Man

You are right, the car park at Logan is ok for the day but I wouldn't leave a trailer there over night just in case. Launch ramp is fine now. IOM was a consideration but on a trip to Isle of Whithorn once, great ride there but the sea on the way back was about as bad as I ever want to experience. Where the change came from, goodness knows as it was not forecast. I suppose that you have to be prepared to stay over if necessary. We set off back from Whithorn in reasonable weather and then it got lumpy and then it got BIG. Thankfully the Irish crossings were good both ways...22NM...about 1hr in our ribs.
