Tornado, got any pic's of Orca IV as well from the day? Tango sits well in the water, what is top end with the 30hp and is handling good?
How long were you out? You say an evening cruise and it's still light.

Re questions

Summers evening...around 2215hrs, out since c1730. Top end of the 30hp at that time c 16/17kt, new prop since managed 21kts!
Tango is an old boat a 4.5m Tornado, but suits my purposes.....not to say that I wouldn't buy a newer boat if the 6 numbers come up!
Ideal territory for shooting about on ribs with the Isles of Arran, Greater Cumbrae, Lesser Cumbrae, Bute and their delightful(!?) ports all within easy reach.

Don't have a photo of Orca IV from that particular night as Phil had the only camera....but here is one of Orca on another occasion as we were setting off for Corrie,Isle of Arran,( passing Hunterston terminal near Largs Marina)

Hi Gadge !
The big question....to assist those down south...is it pronounced
"Wims" Bay or indeed "Weems" Bay !

Indeed look out for us next year....not had to spot a tube surounded by bright orange ones around the Largs channel and its surrounds!

Watch this space as more scenic shots to go on, to show everyone what they are missing up here !
Regards
Tornado
