to the guys in the big black RIB giving it large just by Tower bridge, ROCK ON...

whoever you were. Just missed you with the camera. Shame would have made a nice picture of a RIB airborne under tower br!!

Great to meet you and Chris. Awesome experiencing the London sites in that way. I had an excellent time. Even the company was good! Definately do that again.

Although I was talking to Phil Davies tonight - he said I could have expected Danni Bere (or however you spell it). Bilge?

Seeing those pictures makes me really want to get on the Thames! do you need a river licence to get out there?

I would need to trailer from Hampshire and dont like driving in london at the best of times but where would be best to launch from??

We saw the thames barrier but it was CLOSED... Couldnt go through due to very high tides.

We launched from Poplar rowing club, Isle of dogs. checkout boatlaunch.co.uk and look for Johnson draw dock. Concrete slip with mud and shingle aplenty.

And as for licenses, None at all. Just expect to be watched by the river police. We got stopped 3 times today, nothing serious, just "checking us out"

Got a picture of the patrol near woolwich, he stopped us getting too close to the barrier.

it was good to meet up, shame you missed us with the camera, there were some nice rollers on underneath the bridge, the other chris was driving so all credit can go to him today.

everybody who comes on the river says how good it is, would be good to get a larger meet going on soon.

We weren't going that fast!

I slowed down to hold on under Tower Bridge! Plus i`m always changing my direction at the last minute going under the bridges in case some comedian thinks its funny to grolly off the bridge down to those fools on a boat in Feb!

Perhaps I`m just not trusting enough?

If you fancy another trip out on the Thames we are out and about somewhere most weekends.

meanwhile........i am standing in the back of the boat hoping that one of them will drop me a nice new digital camera or wallet full of dollars, as they are scared by a rib under their toes!

when i get a website sorted i am definately going to promote "wishing ribs" inder tower bridge as a tourist activity! could make a fortune.

ps. helmets are needed and do not try this on the tyne!
