We left Jersey, wife and three kids on Friday morning 06:45 and went directly to Guernsey where we met Dom (Depsol) who kindly hepled us with fuel requirements (thanks a bunch Dom!). This took over an hour after which we set-off directly to Fowey. It was dreadful, the forecast was slightly wrong and we made heavy passage with Force 5/6's. The sea was nasty and we only managed about 24knts. It took us the best part of 4 and a half hours to cover the 124 miles. Eventually arrived in Fowey - what a fantastic little place - and met with some friends where we spent the night. I left Fowey on my own at about 10:30 and covered the distance to Plymouth in about 30 minutes - very rough! Had a great week-end putting names to faces and pottering around.
Sunday morning dawned, family arrived by car from Fowey weather looking pretty crappy, but soon cleared up affording us a brilliant crossing back. Covered the distance to Guernsey in 2 hrs and 20 minutes. Sea was quite nasty from Gsy to Jsy and took about 40 minutes. Boat went extremely well and everyone home safely.

I must just publicly thank Brian for his sterling work with the name badges and all the other little bits and pieces evryone else was oblivious to. Also, thanks to everyone who made the effort to attend.
Let's start planning next year!
