Please excuse my ignorance, but what is the Caudwell powered RIB in the first photo in the second sequence? Is it petrol or diesel powered.

Yes as above, blue for petrol and green for diesel.

Both the Renegade and the Rib-X are running late pre-production Caudwell Marine 350SCi Axis Drive, whilst the engine is essentially as per the production unit there are some suitable engine tweaks on the horizon.

The leg, the Axis Drive as seen on both boats, come the production units will be a second generation of the same, as before cast stainless steel in construction, visually very little changing from what is currently units afloat.

This 350SCi is a supercharged 3.5ltr V6 @ 350shp.

Just for confirmation, the RIB in question is the 9m Rib-X Grand tourer. This is indeed part of our custom eXige range.

More information can be found on our website (Caudwell 9m Grand Tourer | Rib-X)

There is also a recent article here (SuperyachtDesign - Toys and Tenders - RIB-X Caudwell Grand Tourer) with more up to date photos with its custom A-Frame attached!
