Great idea though - instant brakes!!! Will have to rig something up for my Land Rover - will feel a lot safer in the Atlas Mountains if I can just drop an anchor as I go over the edge!!!

That's quite common nowadays, my phantom has a dual system (twin motors, and a choice of foot or hand throttle control), as do most of Mark Pascoes boats.

it's available from 'in-control' (USA)

Just wanted to thank everyone that came to see us and the boats at Ribex, and for all of the great comments on here and the other threads. If anyone would like to know more, feel free to call me on 07836 268747 - we will be at Ramsgate this weekend, and at all of the other National races this year with both boats - if we don't sell it of course!

I forgot to mention my quote of the day at RIBEX. Waiting for the RedJet back to Southampton (now that's a proper boat ) there were a couple of teenage girls standing behind me.

They were looking at the RIBEX poster on the wall, and one turned to the other, pointing at a picture of a certain character lounging around on a RIB, and said adoringly "Oooooh, look! That's Cookee!"
