Mick, I've towed down to the south of France twice during the summer months, near St Tropez, and had a great time albeit a long journey and expensive tolls. Worth it when you're there though, just watch out for the Mistrals. Shout out if you need any tips.

Steve

Avoid August unless you're determined, patient and air conditioned!

Monaco's looking great Andre, wish we were there.

Been looking at the camping village it has moorings
If you have any info on where to get fuel ( petrol ) on the water that would be good either by PM ( it's all the rage at the mo ) or on here is fine.

Fuel isn't a problem over there, there are a lot of big power boats over there, all petrol, I'm over there a lot lately but further down the coast in Antibes and Nice, fuel there ok

Monaco is a great place . Had lunch at the Monaco Yacht club and had to borrow a jacket from the cloakroom attendant to get in.
Going back in January for a long weekend. This time taking jacket and tie for special event at the Monaco Yacht Club.

If somebody is interested I have a little apartment in Cogolin which I rent out during the year . It is just a few minutes from Port Grimaud and 7km to St Tropez .
PM me if somebody want more information .
I usually go with the RIB to the slipway in Cavalaire . There is parking available and a VERY nice slipway .
For ribbing this area is just a dream - even in winter !
I am going next week down but most probably BLACK HAWK will stay at home .. (((
Merry x-mas to everyone !

It's a shame it wasn't closer to port Galice, I could have filled it up for most of the summer, I've been there once a month for the last 5 months and I'm there in the summer looking after an old classic, I do like it down there
