It's hilarious what a simple thread starting with a pic of my boat in a wood can develop into Burning Caravans!

Redfox please don't take offence, but your image, first thing that came into my head.

Elvis is driving a rib!

Caravans etc.....

Hey guys...No offence taken or intended...just trying to promote some good ole-fashioned banter, with some serious stuff mixed in there too! Its just that when I see an opperchancety to dig, I can't resist! Hopefully you see the humour there too!

Damn, I did'nt think you guys had seen my closet, sorry I mean my van. And yes, my van does have a closet, thank you! It performs the function of a bar! Unfortunately space is at a premium on my Rib, so the bar there comes in the shape of a hip flask!

My towing outfits (caravan and boat) are pretty close in weight, and I still get a kick outta the expressions of disbelief on the faces of the go-slow brigade when I overtake 'em! Like I said, it's folks you gotta deal with - not things!

Red Fox - It don't look like Elvis to me.....more like Ned Flanders!

Red Fox -- Hey Elvis, sorry Ned, oops sorry Mark, I told you before - you should'nt be allowed to use your box of crayons while under the influence! You know you can only do justice to one thing at a time - stick to drinking!

PS - how do you get the 'quote' thingy to work?

Just press 'Quote' button (bottom right hand corner) instead of 'Reply'. Then delete any text you don't want and add your own two-pennyworth.

Ok Louise, got it now, thank you. Never noticed those buttons before - My faculties must be dimming with advancing years! And before we have any smart remarks from anyone else - yes I know - getting more and more advanced all the time!
