Rib cruise in Norway

Hello everybody,

In response to the message on the 1000 km cruise in Norway with a Goldfish 29, I just want to add my experience.

At first, I apologize for my bad English.

I would like to say that i just comeback from very very very nice trip in Norway. I left France with a friend at the middle of april to reach the north of Denmark and use a carferry to Stavanger. The first step of the trip was very long, because we had to tow our rib on the trailer during 1 450 km. The rib was a Zodiac N-zo, a heavy rib.

We have spend 15 days in the fjords between Stavanger and Bergen. I was fantastic, we had at first very nice weather, and a lot of snow at the end...
The total distance of the trip was 800 nautical milles.

If some body wants some informations concernig Norway, or cruising over there, you can ask me.

All the story will be published soon in a French boating magazine (i work for this magazine), and after that it will be possible to find all the pictures on our internet blog (http://raid.norvege.over-blog.com/).

Every year i try to have this kind of trip. Last year, we cruised all around denmark with a 6,50 m rib during one week.

Here are some pictures

Extremely nice pictures! I'm envious.
I love the Norwegian fjords. The whole scenery is just breath taking.
If you go to Norway at a later date, I would recommend you to travel a further north. Say to Sognefjorden, the longest fjord in Norway, and a bit further Geiranger, probably the most "popular" fjord.

By the way. Love the look of the cabin. Very nice and wider than the one in my Goldfish. It's still room enough for two people in the Goldfish, but not of such 5-star quality as you have

I've planned two more long trips this year. One trip will go back to Geiranger as the first goal. This time it will not be for two days, but planning for a whole week. Most likely, if the weather is great and the boat is ok, I'll go further south and visit Sognefjorden. One thing to remember... I will have to read some "taking pictures for dummies"-book first
The other trip, in the last week of July, will got north from Trondheim to Brønnøysund. Should be some stunning scenery there too.

Great pictures and awesome adventure (for the cold weather), I am thinking about buying a n-ZO, and I have doubts whether to choose the t-top or bimini.
The bimini seems close to be attached to the fiber, is the official bimini Zodiac?
Congratulations again for your trip

Great pics, I love the one with the ice in the water. That must have been a worry to get through. Nice boat too!

Great adventure and pictures.

Would be interested in your feedback on the N-zo. I really like the boat, but could on;y trial it with a 225 Honda and it felt very slow and could not be turned very steeply.
