Reykjavik XMAS cruise

We went on 5 boats from our Marina to nearby island "Þerney" (Therney) where the club has floating pontoon for its members. After short stop we went to Reykjavik harbour for lunch, original plan was to go to "Sægreifinn" as it is a tradition in Iceland to eat Skate (marinated/ammonia smell) on December 23rd but as we where not fancy for it majority decide to go instead to nearby Hamburger place.

Weather was fantastic -3 degrees and little waves.

It was, but as I couldn´t come to Solent this year I had to do something..... the only option was to have Reykjavik cruise.... so out of the toy storage and to water..... and it was worth looking at people when they vitualy stopped on the road watching us spinning around....

Great you had good time, yes it was great those 3 1/2 hour we had of daylight.... now each day will be "foot" longer.... so more time out if we decide to go out for a spin.

I probably not as I will start working on the boat in the new year although not til February as will be traveling most of January and plan also set for Miami boat show.
