Ian boat looks very nice.
The only thing that makes me laugh though is how clean and tidy the workshop looks.
It looks like a palace compared to the workshops we have in Greece!!

Looking good !!!

Pardon my ignorance but are the tubes just stuck onto that narrow channel on the hull or is there more glass still to be installed on the hull.

Doesn't look like much to hold the tubes - but I know nothing

Paul

Where is that being built then Ian?
Have prosport expanded because it doesn't look much like the room stuck on the end of that cattle shed!
Good for them if they have.

build location

They have moved from the 'shed' you and I have seen to this rather palacial workshop. I am informed it is a temporary move, but may be a long temporary period. It certainly gives them scope to increase production and cut delivery schedules.
Much more modern and still on Guernsey.

Thanks Jono,

I thought I've seen some that kinda had about a 1/4 of the diameter of the tube recess for the tube to "sit" into. But my memory is not what it used to be !!

Must check mine now..

It's coming on Ian. It's disappointing we didn't get to see the structure before the deck went down. We've been waiting for that one.

When it looks like an ironing board and you see the twin outboards in the background, it makes you appreciate the importance of the deck to transom strength.

I was as well, but it's hard work getting photo's from them!
It may be easier now with the new works and further staff being taken on. It might be possible to get photo's of Jono's 9m before the deck is installed.

This photo was taken before the move to the new workshop.
Delivery is now back to the original schedule, mid March.
