I already posted a ton of pics last year, so instead I put together a load of video clips into one lastnight while waiting for Big Ben to chime at midnight

Unfortunately, unless you have broadband neither video will stream (but you can right click and save as though).

512k - http://files.ribseadrive.co.uk/video_2004_small.wmv
1meg and above - http://files.ribseadrive.co.uk/video_2004_large.wmv

They 'should' stream when clicked on if you have Microsoft software.
The video is just over 4 and a half mins long

Hello Andy,

Yes, indeed it was woot with the light blue tubes

Only one bit of roughish weather... I hope not!! - that's all calm stuff..... I only ever go out on the water when it's nice weather (I have this fear of breaking something otherwise)
It is rough today - http://www.pembrokeweather.org.uk/ - 45knots gusting at the ferry terminal, and the cam at St Ann's (not on that site) shows a very 'lively' sea.

Not explained in the video which I should have done, the 2 orange ribs were the new yacht club boats (humbers) just finishing off the run in period, and then the yellow rib is Peter24/7 from the forums. The other blue rib (dark blue) is Jon Tallis on his boat The Goose (not a member of the forums).

Ricky, is that the photo you posted earlier in the year when someone asked if you rented a helicopter to take the pics .

Alex, I have been in two minds on whether to take my RIB out over the Christmas break as I'll probably be PXing it later this month and I had a nasty feeling I'd break something on it!! When I had made my mind up for a "Post" New years cruise this weekend, the weather got worse!!

I like this photo for several reasons
No1 I managed to get a good shot whilst driving the boat and having the arse end of the boat pulled around by the monoskier.
No2 My mate brought his monoski along on a days boating but neither of us knew if the boat would be able to pull a monskier out and be fast enough for him to be able to ski well - the photo answers both questions.
No3 The photo is my inspiration for trying to ski in 2005, haven't even got ski's yet but I hope to be able to get a similar photo soon with me throwing a big rooster tail up. Just a few teething problems to overcome, no ski's, no idea what to do, co-ordination deficit, large body out of proportion with arm strength, I could go on but I think you get the idea but I do like a challenge!

Yes thats the one! Andy gave the boat a good workout, and produced some great photos. We'll have to do some more for 2005! We've got some ideas about getting photos of boats airborne off the back of the IOW ferries, but it takes some planning, good weather and boat placement.

A few that stuck in my mind...

The sea oh the sea...couldn't make up its mind whether it was following or beam...(off the West of Ireland ) Scary monster.

Nice to be in Donegal !

A long night (flare requested by Lifeboat as we were drifting )

Vroooom ! Fi meets some of the RIBnet gang and Carl even lets her drive !(This one isn't actually Fi driving cos we couldn't catch up but it's similar )

Paul in Pompey Harbour. Shure 'tis like the Med here at times

(Got millions more but I'll stick some on Ribsters too.)
