Pig in Action

A Plymouth Uni pig in action

I will try and get some high speed people transfers at the weekend as we do practice that quite a lot.

Also, may get some rough weather action tomorrow!

Not great quality but ok to give an idea!

Cheers
Karl

Sorry Karl
all I got was syntax errors.
Was it the newly modded 20' units with a consol and decent size engine?
When they were new ( & I was younger ) had to have a hand stear 40 Suzuki becasue the divers had to have a handstear!!
Glad things finally changed to a usable solution if hard on the old bum.
Have fun the inflateables the pigs replaced lasted for 16-18 years so it will be a while before you get new toys on that precedence!!

Sorry Karl, I can't either.
It loads Realplayer, says "connecting" and then either, nothing or "media type not supported".
Waited about 10-15mins as I only have modem connection.

Yea, sorry Karl but I got the same as Brian, on both a modem and a main university server.

Managed to get real player to run it. About 2.6 mb though. What sort of rib is it ? seems it has something on top of the tubes ?

Its not a rib !
Imagine a pure inflatable made out of poly gas pipe and you won't be too far wrong, built like the preverbial out house.
The bits on top of the tubes are water deflectors, great for the job but when we had then offshore for work along side supply boats and survey boats the water deflectors kept catching the strengtheners / steel fenders and with the wave action could get close to flipping the boat!!

Pigs CAN fly!

Ah those were the days.
You broke before the boat broke.

Just imagine a
force 5
nice 3m swell
a 40hp o/b instead of a 75hp o/b
no console
and 8x RYA level 2 divers.
I can still see there faces as the waves went over them.
I had a good view as I sat in Gemma Lou`s cabin with the heater on!
