When you can get them !!!

If anyone knows of a local camera shop that might stock a Nikon WP-CP4 waterproof housing for a Nikon 7900 i would most appreciate their phone number. I have today phoned 20 or so online stores and cannot find one in stock anywhere !!!

(Sorry this post is a bit off topic)

Assuming you've already Googled it.....

Have you tried Ocean Leisure which is next to Embankment tube station

http://www.oceanleisure.co.uk/

They have a section with camera housings. I suspect their prices might not be the keenest though.

This is absolutely true, Des. Digital still canít beat a good 35mm transparency. Would this be an appropriate time to mention that I have a Nikon F3 film camera with MD4 motor drive and a selection of Nikon lenses for sale?

RIBase
This was what I used-they arent waterproof to diving depths but for daytime boat use they are perfect.

Their camera section is run by a company called "Cameras Underwater" and these were one of the 20 or so that I allready tried.

There must be a problem with Nikon not supplying these things as no one has them in stock anywhere.

Thanks for the suggestion though - keep 'em comming

Roy,

Grays of Westminster are good, they may be able to point you in the right direction if they can't supply one. (http://www.graysofwestminster.co.uk/welcome.html )

Failing that, try Nikon UK - surely they can throw some light on this?
