Pensioner ribbers

I took my parents to MStM on Monday; we had a great day. My father was last there in the early 1960s; my mother had never been there.

The new barrage across the river Couesnon is now open to pedestrians. It's a "must see" for all fans of hydraulic engineering:

Any problems re-floating the boat this time?

Matt - no problems this time. We took a long rope and sprung the boat up. Having more people onboard made leaving a lot easier.

Jizm - my parents are hard of hearing hence the loud instructions. They never listen to me anyway.

Downhilldai - the people in that photo don't look like pensioners to me; I reckon I'm older than they are!
