Seriously, have you people heard of anything that can be applied on the tubes and change the color ? A spray perhaps ?

Category B

Forgot to point out. Both Platypus and Seahawk 2 are category B certified. This is now standard for all Parker 630 ribs

Rib Colours

Thank you for your feedback on colours. This is always an emotive subject .
orange tends to give a commercial feel to a craft even on much smaller ribs whilst Andres Rib still having the same atributes as mine tends to lend its self to more lesiure simply by colour scheme although both boats are built to an identical specification bar the heavy duty fendering on the orange boat.
At the end of the day its all down to personal preference . I like orange boats , my wife does not and prefers the colours of the other Rib.

regards

David

Michael .

The tube has a double "Tear drop" grey fender. The "Tear drops" are pointing to each other and the Red hypalon strip is in between. No big deal to peel it off for someone who knows what he is doing and stick another one on

Thanks for the reply but this is not what I am talking about. I just asked if there is ANY way of changing the color of the hypalon noeprene (by other ways of putting a new fabric on).

Hi Andre

Both RIBs look great.

Love the seat backrests. Looking forward to many hours out in the channel.

Enclosed a little pic of us out on Galaxsea a couple of weeks ago.

It was a fab mirror calm day and we got her up to 43 knots (gps) at one point in the morning.

Hope all is well at home after the unfortunate flood.
Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

See you soon.

Phil

Thanks Phil and to all who have offered help. Really appreciated. Spent the whole weekend sorting things out and now back to normal

The two ribs will be arriving in about one weeks time so will be out the weekend of 15/16. What are your plans?

by the way 43 knots is a bit too much for Seahawk 2

Weekend of 15th / 16th sounds great to me.

The 16th would be better tide . 5 metre high @ 10.26.

Fancy a trip Brighton direction or maybe up to Nab?
