Oh my! I'm really sad for you.

What can one say after an event like this.

I hope something good comes out of this in the end.

Chris
Totaly agree with Chris, realy enjoyed following the re-build,and a real tragic way for it to end, BUT,you must not let it defeat you.
YOU ARE ONLY BEATEN....WHEN YOU GIVE IN.

Unfortunatly it was not insured as my insurance company wanted a surveyors valuation of her due to the large difference in the price I paid and my estimated value. She had been due to have been sea trialed last wednesday and insured last thursday but due to a delay in delivery of some final essential parts that had been delayed until next week.
Not sure when I will get another rib as every penny of my savings had gone into this one.
Two of my commercial narrowboats were also damaged but the insurance will cover all but the 1k excess of that.
A local dive clubs rib parked near the shed was damaged by the heat and is probably a right off as the tubes melted and the grp on the bow is badly damaged.

Sorry to hear what has happened to you,i had enjoyed reading you build thread.
What is in the heads of people who would do something like this?
Lets hope whoever is responsible has a pile of misery heaped upon them.
