Jon,

Regarding the misreading rev counter, if your meters are the same as my own, then there is a switch on the back of the unit that is supposed to be set in a way to match your engine model. That rev counter can apparently be used for many different engines, even 6-cyl. I'll take a look at the documentation for my own to see the settings.

Alternatively, start a new thread in the Discussion section and you'll probably get an immediate answer.
