old hand, new thinking

new to ribnet, just posted some pics of my boat and a few ideas that i have built into it, the boats my own design so at the moment it's the only one. the "bumper" saves the attachment strap damage and the fuel filler make a good towing post

Lovely boat mate. Like the 'bumper', ours god scuffed up on a pontoon when someone left alongside us and tied us up again very poorly.

Wouldn't tow from that bollard if its only screwed into the deck though.
What engine have you got in there?

you're right the hull is a coastline, i work quite closely with them, i,ve worked for a load of rib companies doing ribs and found for me that this is a good hull so i bought one and developed everything else you see, but beauty isn't only skin deep the layup in the hull is also completely different including two sets of stringers more bulkheads and different engine bay flooring and bearers

stormchaser

yes, it's almost the same, done some more to it now, the write up was not bad, but like every news item they get details slightly wrong, like everybodies name for instance, still going strong though with 800 hours on the clock i guess the sea trial is over and it's time to start cleaning up the moulds and build so more for other people. posted a couple of pics of another one i was doing just to keep everybody interested

Not sure about the leg (flash prop by the way!), but is that one of those BMW Turbo Diesel V6 based Yanmars?

these pics are for you Simmons0 with a piece of advise, the best thing you can buy for your rib is a breathable all over cover
