Now thats what I call a Rib.....

This is claimed to be the biggest passenger carrying Rib in Europe. I have no idea if it is - its one of the Dolphin watch boats operating out of Lagos Marina, Portugal.

Its around 13m in length - and has twin 350hp engines (from memory) with waterjet drives.

Quite an impressive beast! And the lads that operate the service are a great bunch of guys too. Mind you they dont worry too much about things like lifejackets out here as you can see.

Looks very impressive but doubt it's the biggest. Some of the Ring boats have 18 seats and some of the Cromptons are huge - then again maybe the cromptons don't count as they only carry unofficial passengers without seats......

That seat at the top is probably a bit hairy in a tight turn!!!

Ive been on this 3 times, i think they are twin 500 i think!?!? the guys that run it are hilarious!!

p.s I know this thread is well old!

Dont belive its the biggest in Europe, heres another three 13m, two of them in Sweden and one of them in Finland.

Can you imagine someone trying to operate that in the UK. Health and Safey would nail them to the pontoon.
