Ooooh, look at all the Gel-coat on the concrete

Are they trying to recover it? Best to tie off the trailer before it rolls down the slip with boat on top and into the ogging

Been there done that The fix is to chock the trailer front and back, apply handbrake, and use a tow rope and the car to haul the boat back on the trailer. Using the winch is very dangerous, trust me.

Should have used the fork lift in the background to pick the back up, would have saved more damage.

I recon the winch either wasn't on for some reson or the ratchet gave way. The boat rolled back and as the hull hit the concrete it would have taken a little time to stop rolling back as the front half of the boat would have been still on the trailer and the momentum would have tried to keep the thing moving.

If done properly there wouldn't have been any more damage.

Connect up winch to bow eye and winch the trailer under the boat untill the trailer starts to level. Then winch on as normal (don't ask me how I know ). I doubt that much damage was done, certainly a mix of gel coat and a liberal coat on the hull couldn't fix. I hope the outboard skeg didn't hit the ground though.
