Not a Rib But WOW What a Boat

Went out on my friend Charlie Bartlett's New Intercepter 42 Mikatcha Charter Fishing boat at the end of the Summer hols he took us out for a spin out in Aberdovey and in the bay to prove the seakeeping qualities and what a boat it is force 7 and the waves were 9 or 10 ft at least. It was just punching through them at 27ktsand taking beam seas in her stride with 650hp and on the flybridge it felt like it could take anything.

What an Awsome Boat wouldn't like the fuel bills though when he goes wreching 58 miles in the middle of Cardigan bay and back uses about 500 litres

Yes they are great boats - can be bought quite cheap for self build. Videos are awesome and they let you download them!!!

Nice boat, almost makes it all look too easy.

Now if I can just get one of those with stabalisers I might just get the missus to like boating.

Very impressive looking boat.

Lots that 500 liters for a 116 mile round trip or is the round trip 58 miles? Lotsa fuel either way.

Thanks for the clarification even though my question didn't make much sense the way it was posted.

One of those boats operates out of Neyland Marina a few minutes from here, and turns on a sixpence - the guy cox'ing it does a perfect reverse park into a tight spot every time!! . She looks pretty good out at sea too, and extremely stable
