night out on the town with the sub fives

last week bilge rat asked me if i wanted to do a night trip from herne bay
as the tides were crap 546pm high . we turned up at 2.30 and off we went around the island i wanted to check my new trim tab worked which it as improved the cavtation some what .we went around the inside of sheppy
and saw the local seals sitting on the mub bank it was my first night trip
and was a very good night on the run back into herne bay my engine died
but this time i knew thank god the fuel had run out so swoped tanks and off we went note must get a four stroke one day. most of the trip was done at wot so 25l wont go far

i was very please with the rib as its the first time out with all the bits working
and at night its a new world to conquer

night fever

Good to hear, we do a bit of night stuff, biggest problem is floating wood which you dont see at night, and lobster pots keep up the good work

Next time we go out at night we'll go around the inside of sheppy in the dark at low water

Yep its always a constant worry hitting lumps of wood or lobster pots.
