Sorry about missunderstanding, it was more as a joke because boat looks really nice.
I understand that you don`t want to sell now, but if you one day feel like it, contact me, i am distributor for Osprey in Scandinavia, and 2hand prices here are a little bit higher than UK for 2 hand boats so it`s a good deal to sell them to Scandinavia, you get more here for the boat than i UK, but we have same prices on new boats as in UK.

Okay, to bring this thread up-to-date as prommised i'll start Thursday evening.

I spent about and hour sorting the electronics - at least 15 minutes of which was 'wasted' dealing with the silly connector Icom supply with the new M601 for GPS connection. I am an electrinics engineer, and it took me ages to solder it properly. Bring back the 2.5mm jack we had with the old DS-100 DSU unit.

In summary not only does the DSC set now get all the info from the GPS, the Mercury smartcraft also knows the time, COG, SOG, Dist to Waypoint and prehaps other things i don't know about. This is useful because it allows it to estimate a fuel to Waypoint and i've configured the Spedo to show GPS speed about 20knts.

We (Michael and I) then set about assembling various new peices of stainless to seats.

This is the new handle for the front of the two-man jockeys.

We then spent at least an hour deciding exactly where the two double jockeys were going in the back.

We also learnt if we both stood right at the back we would come very close to damaging our shiney new engine as the boat tips up

Once we had decided on position (lots of measuring and marking) we pilot drilled and then self-tappered 4 screws into the floor. We realised lining the seats up once we had covered the contact area in StikaFlex would be almost imposiable so made 4 peices of 3" long 3mm rod from brazing wire and drilled pilot holes to use these as locaters later.

Obviously we repeated this for the 2nd seat.

At this point we decided to go for a curry since it was 10:30 and they shut at 11:30

In this pic you can just see the locator rods sticking up to the right of my foot.

I've found a better pic to illustrate these locator rods. They line up with 4 of the 20 or so pre-drilled holes in the seat base. The angle is as best as we could acheive given restricted drilling angle.

In our quest for boating Friday, in about 12 hours time, we returned at about midnight to continue. Even though i had sampled several indian beers the aforementioned locator rods meant we could not go wrong (and Mike was driving, so had a coke!)

We then carefully replaced the four screws used to position the seat earlier, and added another 4 per seat to just squash the stikaflex. We pulled the alignment rods out or they would have been well stuck the next day!

At this point it was about 1:30am, and after tidying up we went home for some well deserved kip.

Next morning we had to move the boat out of the borrowed workshop at 8:30 but Mike failed to turn up. Not a problem appart from he had taken the RangeRover home with him (remember, i was drinking indian beer ).

Apparently it was a technical problem with his pillow or duvet or something.

We got to my house at about 9:30am and set about putting the remaining 30 or so screws into the deck, all with stainless penny washers.
