New lifeboat RIBs

Here some pictures of our new lifeboat RIBs. They are both Boomeranger C-3500 Cabin models fitted with 2x250 HPDI and 2xF225 Yamahas. Very nice and capable boats. I was able to drive around 300 miles with them and experiences are very good. Seakeeping is great and performance over 45 knot with both propulsion options. Furuno Navnet works fine and twin 15" TFT displays are ideal navaid at sea. I'm not sure how many RIBs have this kind of like flat-screen cockpit...

Give us some more tech details (weight, consumption etc).

VERY NICE Boats. I suppose the cabin has different options and in the recreational version doesn't look like this which serves a purpose I suppose for a rescue RIB.
Are the made out of fibreglass or Aluminium?

Thanks for comments. I agree, the boats are great RIBs. The material is GRP, but I think the company has now capabilities for aluminium production also with C-3500. Other models out of aluminium are available already. Lenght is 10,4 m, beam 3,5 m, operational weigh something like 4000 kg. Consumption at 32 kn around 75 litres per hour, full speed much more...150 l I think.

Manos, for recreational version anything is possible. Boomeranger is full custom builder. We ordered the RIBs and converted the layout by ourself, the company does everything you want but says if your idea won't likely work at sea. Therefore we like to work with them, the MD is naval architect and really knows what he does, so we can rely on what the company says.
