Ness Express - Microlight footage

Some great footage of the 'Ness Express' taken from 'pete the pilots' sponsoned microlight. We have also just taken delivery of her sister boat the 'Ness Explorer' Both were built by Quinquari marine and have been very well received by our customers and staff who love them!

the water is not really "murky" but is incredibly deep (so dark) and also spends quite a bit of time in the "shadow" of the mountains either side which makes it look (in the words of my 5 yr old) "ink black".

Many of the "monster claims" have been attributed to strange wave/wake phenomena. We saw this in person a few weeks ago from the wake of Ness Express. She had run up the loch and stopped off Urquart Castle for some photos - when we were going the other way. She moved along so that she was completely out of view - but her wake was still there almost as a standing wave - it was easy to see how with the reputation the loch has, someone who hadn't seen the RIB create it several minutes before could be mistaken for thinking something more mysterious had!

Brilliant stuff and great boats - hope you do well - great location for it. Unless of course the idiots at Windemere spread their posion and get them to introduce a speed limit!!!

Great footage and some very skillful flying.

I hope the bods at the CAA dont get a sniff of this though, as I think Rule 5, the Low Flying Rule may have been ignored once or twice . Procecutions do happen.

Excellent! Must be huge fun to travel at speed over water so smooth. I think most here seem to like it rough, but I must confess to enjoying calm conditions much more.
