Nemo's been a busy boy!

And made a console pod to house his new toy

After aquiring a new Lowrance 3300c plotter i have had to find somewhere to house it,and anybody who knows a Searider console knows that any more than 1 unit is a no no! and this has been the result.

I started by making up a mock-up out of cardboard of what i wanted then made the mould from malamine board and rounded the edges with plastecine. I then removed the front so that the back could be glassed up then put the front on and removed the back as to keep the mould together and cut the holes for the units to allow the access to glass up the rear. it is then finished with wet and dry.

The result i quite good. (sorry for the poor quality pictures)

The whole thing looks like it's "morphed" out of a '73 Bond Bug!

Nice job though Nemo.

Nemo,

That is exactly (well our will top a Delta console) what I will be doing you dont have any photos of the process, the finished thing is stunning, our commitee will certainly want me to fashion a similar item.

I checked out CFS site and info so will digest their techniques.
