Great stuff - and thank you so much for NOT forcing people to watch it streaming in a tiny window - i just can't understand why fancy websites do that!!! Much better to have the option to download.

Nice to see a RIB with an inboard that's not a diesel - or is it???

Hi guys, thank you all for visiting and watching the video, after a lot of work is nice to be able to share with other people!
Speed now is 73 knots (I always talk real speeds!!) with a 454 (modified) (so the engine is GAS codprawn you are right!)
The 454 did not survive the last race and is completly gone, we are replacing it with an 8.2 L 502 modified (forged cranckshaft, forged pistons, high perf cam, aluminium heads etc) and I hope we will be able to get as close as possible to the 80 knots wich is my final target for this RIB.

eheheh !
I'm talking real versus "boat on the trailer " speed,I've always been impressed of how fast other drivers boats go when they are on the trailer !!

What sort of horsepower does the motor put out to get 70+ knots? If its a 454 it must be quite a few

Rough Tough : we didn't have a chance to test it in serious sea this season, worst condition we faced has been beaufort scale 3-4 condition.
No particular problems with that kind of sea and a some ballast weight.

Horse Power...who knows,it might be anything from 380 HP to 450-470 no dyno test has been done on the engine so nobody really knows, I suspect between 420 and 450.
