My Searider Project
I am new to this forum and although have had boats on and off over the last 10 years this is the first RIB I have had to re build.
Bought the 4m searider hull last week and intend to have it all ready minus the engine by Christmas.
I have so far:
Removed the horrible windscreen thing (on sale on ebay if anyone wants it)
Cleaned out the whole interior
Removed mini barnacles from the hull
Repaired and refitted the bung
Repaired a puncture in the front tube
Given it a good clean up
Lubed and cleaned up the steering ready to go back on when the console arrives

So far the plan is to "do it up"
I will aim to finish it early in the new year and then play with it and probably sell it early summer.
I am more interested in the actual project than the finished article. I have done up various things over the years, boats, land rovers, cars and I just fancied doing up a RIB this winter. I normally use my project for a while and then sell it to fund the next one.

Hi, I bought a console from Ebay. It is small one because I want to maximise the space in the boat, I will put up some pictures when it arrives.
