My Ocean

Just a pic of my Ocean 6.25M and Suzuki 200HP EFI to prove that it does hit the water, just when nobody else is about.

Taken after tearing around the Solent with my family on Sunday (4th Sept 05) near the Ferry Inn Slip, Hayling Island.

Was that you in the SR moored up off southsea beach for a while near the Kite surfers?

And I was out that day.

Arrived Langstone about 1700 Hrs.

Can't remember any RIBs on the Hayling side tho.....

I'll keep an eye out for you tho....

I guess that photo was taken about 1300 hrs. I was at the Sloop Inn then.

Hi. I was probably winching the boat up onto its trailer as you arrived back, but using the beach rather than the slipway to jump the queue.

I nearly always launch from the Ferry Inn, so will look out for you. Come and say hello if you recognise me first.

You are right about the time, just about high tide. My friend had some virgin Boaters in his 5.4M SR and they weren’t too sure of Sunday’s lumpy Solent. So we mucked about for a while and headed back to have a picnic on the beach in front of the Ferry Inn.

Great day, my kids enjoyed themselves, although we obviously didn’t explore the upper regions of the throttle position too much.
