It's a 1983 two cylinder 50 Yamaha. They were de rated from 55hp to make way for the twin pot 60 which had a different mounting, block, electrics and gear ratio. The 50 is the better choice as you will never stick for spares.

If you have the time and knowledge and you're willing to go through the pain. They are a great first engine.

I take it the bars run from the transom down to the deck if so there already there.
