My day at the boatshow.

Had to go on myself as the family have had enough of me dragging them round all the RIB stands for 9 hours !!!

1. Selva
2. RIB-X had a fine stand and some pretty good looking RIB's.
3. Another RIB-X
4. Had to go to the Sunseeker stand just oggle !!
5. 3x300hp HPDI's on the back of a Sunseeker Sportfisher. Oh the power!

Hi Colin,
SACS is a make of a RIB. I think is the RIB in your No 17 photo. They are made in Italy and this one is their cabin version.

that looks like a massive trainer!!!!!!!!

Made for people who can't 'come alongside' without smacking things (plenty of them down here). I heard one bloke ask for a berth next to a rib as "I'm not too good at mooring up", not next to my rib!!!!! Cheeky bugger

Great photos, Phil. Was nice to see as I was unable to attend this yr. A greeny for your efforts!!

Any pics of the XS-Ribs stand? I know they had an XS-600 on the water and the smaller XS-540 on land.

Thanks again for the pics!!

Manos, it is in fact at Cirrus, they did an article in RIB International on it a while back. I am pretty sure they make them in the U.K, Weymouth or Portland I think. I remember the article saying they are built almost entirely using CAD CAM technology. (Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Manufacture). I think they do a 6.5M outboard powered one and larger inboard versions.

These are great boats!

We had three at Uni. Two of them had merc 75s on and them were bomb proof! Not very stylish I`ll give you that but they were a proper giggle in the ruff stuff!

It was a fine show. Lots of RIBs taking poeple out on the water too.

Bargains galore to be had too.

Got a top pair of Henry Lloyd Bib/brace for Mrs. C for £25.00. Well impressed.

Look out for the Ribeye 650S opposite the Tornado stand. It looks the dogs....!

Hope you have a fine day.

Phil
