I say that they are great boats but for that short of money why bother?

160K is too much for just a RIB or am I worng??

YOU WONT BELIEVE THIS

Today the weather in Greece was extremely bad.
In certain areas winds reached speeds of 130kms/hr (about 80 miles/hour) Gale Force 11/12. In Athens winds reached speeds up to gale force 9/10. The City looks like it has been bombed (and the war in Iraq hasn't started yet).

I have never seen anything like it before in Greece.

Wave hight in the Aegean 6/7 mtrs plus.

This low front will last for the next 2 days.

Look at these links

Manos,
I copied and pasted this from your post in cabin rib developments:

"I still think that most Italians do not know how to built boats (and if you ask some of my mates in Greece you'll see that they all try to get rid of them). And worst if you go on one you will not want to go on it again."

JF

I was talking about the Cabin RIBs if I remember correctly and boats like the SOLEMAR and the like which costs a fortune.
As a matter of fact when I said this I had in mind a BELUNGA 6.5. A friend of mine has one of those and he wants to get rid of it but he can't.
We were on it once with flat calm seas and for some unknown reason the boat banged like mad and we were so wet like it was force 7. Next to us was a COBRA and when we got to our destination the guys on the COBRA could not believe what they witnessed. Needless to say that they were completely dry.
As far as Mr Buzzi's boats are concerned if you pay 160K for a RIB you might as well leave it in the marina where it will look great and you will not have the danger of damaging it.
Also I said MOST not all
End of transmission

Manos OUT!

Explanation accepted!,

I have to say though, I think there needs to be outrageously expensive things available, boats, cars, houses, watches the lot!
Otherwise if you're outrageously wealthy, you won't have anything to spend your money on that others can't have, there would be no point in being outrageously wealthy?
