I'm cool. not soul destroying at all, just part of the job of building moulds.
Mould life is not easy to measure, if you build them right in the first place and spend a bit of time and effort looking after them they will last you a very long time if not they may only last a couple of pulls, but as you say you always have the last moulding to re build them from.
You are right this one will be different and the photos will be here on ribnet first!

Thank you for your kind words Manos!

I know you mean well Manos but I'm not, nor have I ever claimed to be a RIB designer or a RIB expert - in fact I have publicly stated on many occasions it is Kitten that is the real builder - I just help!

Never expected much else from you anyway!

It will be 7.5 metres - the same as the race boat.

Length overall and hull length are the same the way the RYA measures boats - right or wrong it's the way we do it - do you mean length to the end of the tubes or something? Don't have the beam measurement handy I'm afraid.

LOA: I thought that according to most RIB manufacturers LOA is the total length of the boat i.e. from bow to the end of the tubes, hull length is the hull legth only, excluding the tubes. Also, if you go to a marina to berth, they ask the LOA of your boat meaning total legth inc the end of the tubes aft not just the hull legth. So if your boat is 7.5 mtrs LOA from what you say I suppose you mean just hull length (which is pretty big), so what is the actual LOA (inc tubes)?
I am only asking about the beam because as I see it you based the design on your racing RIB (which is quite interesting boat I may add), but I would have thought that the hull of the racing RIB may be narrower than the hull of the recreational version RIB. May be I'm wrong though

Yes you are! The beam is the same as is the hull form.

A soon as we make a boat and put some tubes on it we will probably measure it - until then I can only tell you what the race boat measures - and I havn't measured it that way either!

The race boat is actually 7.3 metres on the RYA measurement certificate but we have made some detail changes to the bow on the leisure version which will probably make it 7.5 metres bow to transom.
