More Seals

Saw this group last weekend just off the Emsworth channel in Chi Harbour ,you can see Langstone church in the back ground and Hayling Island Sailing club in the other shot . There are about 14 resident seals in the harbour and they seem quite at ease as long as you stay off a bit . Last summer we had one swimming with all the kids and dogs on the beach at HISC !

Lurcher
We tried a few times last year to see them, but no luck. I blame a noisy 2 stroke.
Looking at the photos, were they on Pilsey sands just south of the entrance to the Thorney Channel? It looks more like Bosham Church in the background.

Its off the Emsworth Channel near Mill Rythe and Im pretty sure it is Langstone but will have a look again in morning , I think the angle is wrong for Bosham .

Church

The church in the pics is in fact Mengham church . There were a few seals up the creek yesterday but there was a yellow Ocean RIB anchored very close to them fishing so there was only one on the sand the rest were in the water .Can't imagine the fishing was any good with all the seals in the water!
If you go to look at them please keep your distance and dont disturb them .
