...more Gratuitous Redbay Pics ;-)

The latest 11m "Lima" is about to become a "Saint"! Destined for St. Helena in the South Atlantic, she is going to be the most isolated Redbay in the world . She will also work in a firefighting role, ferrying firefighters and pumping equipment around the coastline to fire scenes. She has a very basic fit out but I see they still insisted on a fully moulded heads compartment.

Other far flung deliveries have been a fully rigged 650 to Sydney, Australia and a bareboat 1050 to a "Private Client in Ukraine" ()

Next 11m

I don't know what this one is called but she's destined for the South of England. A first for Redbay, she is fitted with twin Volvo D4-300s amounting to around 90k worth of engines and associated controls. Speaking of controls, she is fitted with joystick docking controls - where you point the joystick, the boat goes. These are fitted at the main helm and on deck

And I see you've broken the gauge too. It's done a full 360, right round past full and has almost made it back to the start position!

I bet when they told the new purchaser that it'd come with a full tank he thought they meant fuel

Christmas comes early

And finally, this large package arrived recently at Redbay, FOC. A bit of rummaging revealed a Yanmar 315 and their new ZT350 leg. This is fortuitous in more ways than one, as the new 850 hull has just been tubed and awaits motive power

I'm fairly sure there were several witnesses present when the boss said he needed a couple of test monkeys to take the finished product out and "thrash the bejaysus out of it" for a day.

Dibs!
