Great vid Bruce glad you both had a good time. Hoe di the 'old tosser' do did he retain the championship? I was on board ready to come up as it was a lovely day and the trip up would have been great...... but bloody engine would not start spent all afternoon bobbing up and down on the mooring. Still not starting but got now it wants to but not enough power left on board. Need to take power with me next week. The joys of boating thank god it getting near the end of the season!!

It seems not and the title passed to another..............

It was a nice day and to be perfectly frank the stone skimming is more a matter of luck than skill from observation.

Ah! Great vid Bruce and super to see you both again - and to see Wave Sweeper for the first time. Didn't know I'd been caught in action Sadly, as you've said, I didn't regain my title, notwithstanding achieving a personal best distance.

Puffin: - and Bruce. You're quite right. When I was champion (joint) it was all down to skill. This year my 31 metre skim was also down to skill. The guy who skimmed 47 metres to win was just lucky. The conditions were too easy. My third throw would've hit the wall if it hadn't dive bombed.

Jambo: What a pity you couldn't make it. Would have been a super trip on a lovely day. There was a good gathering of RIB's in the harbour though the only RIBnetters I met AFAIK were Bruce and Tony (Seafari).

Another wonderfully eccentric West Coast event, made even better by the super weather this year.
