The bananas split down the middle and you became a fruit salad.

The zapcat slid up the beach, stopping within an inch of the waiting Land Rover. The two intrepid occupiers of the zapcat leapt from their craft and removed their drysuits to reveal black trousers, frilly dress shirts and white tuxedoes. They were then whisked away in the Land Rover to a windswept cliff where the rotors of a helicopter purred.

The Land Rover skidded to a halt alongside the aircraft which was hovering just above the ground. Our two heroes jumped on board as the helicopter started to rise into the air. They flew overland, passing a patchwork quilt of fields and gardens until finally their waterside destination came into view.

The helicopter landed and the tuxedoed two jumped out clutching bouquets of blood red roses. They ran along the quayside and on to the breakwater. What had looked like a black dot on the horizon roared into view and stopped below them. Ignoring the ladder, brave MeMe and Jono vaulted over the railing and jumped down into the waiting RIB which then sped off leaving a trail of red roses behind it.

And all because the boys love Black Jack!

P.S. Hope you like it, Alan! And Ian & Debs of course!

What an extraordinarily fertile imagination you have, Louise! You know I really think it's time you started looking for a job - fantasising about Jono in a frilly dress shirt and tuxedo indicates a deeply scarred and disturbed mind.

And anyway, no Land Rover of Jono's would ever skid to a halt because he'd have ordered it with the ABS/Traction Control option

Lou' don't listen to Ian, he's just jealous because there wasn't room in the Zap for him

I enjoyed your story very much apart from the fact you missed out the bit about MeMe being 6'3", tanned, muscular and deonaire.
